Bert is a Polynesian wild pig who was found all alone outside Hilo when he was about 5-6 weeks old. He was terribly skinny and very weak when he first arrived in April 2018.

Today Bert is a chubby love bug - just the sweetest boy in the world! While the other piggies can be sometimes intense and demand attention, Bert will simply lay down and wait politely for his belly rubs. When you cuddle with him, he’ll lay there happy grunting, hoping it will never end. That’s your wild boar for you. Probably the most misunderstood animal in the world.
