Magical Creatures of Hamakua is home to many animals who have suffered abuse, neglect, and/or traumatic upheaval prior to a life at the sanctuary. Many of them love attention and enjoy cuddles, but please remember this is not a petting zoo. All animal interactions are on the animal’s initiative. The animals’ needs are always our priority.
